New books arrive at the Woodbine Public Library

The Bloomfield Library's Books for Babies program is still under way and has been quite successful in the past. Carol Chaney, a member of Friends of the Bloomfield-Eastern Greene County Public Library, said, "We have had good results with the program."

Village Books, the student and general bookstore in Hendrix Village, opened its doors to the public Wednesday. The store features a small coffee and tea bar, Hendrix merchandise, some food items, text books and recommended reading material for students, as well as a general reading section.
